Leopard frogs are often abundant in the areas they occur. Brown’s Leopard Frog (named in honor of the late Dr. Brice Brown by the late Ottys Sanders) ranges from southern Veracruz, México, throughout the Yucatán Peninsula including Belize, and through Guatemala to Nicaragua.
